Professional Installation Tips

To ensure a secure, long-lasting bond and a professional finish, please follow these industry-standard installation guidelines:

• Do NOT Ream: We strongly advise against reaming out the inside of the ferrule. Forcing a drill bit or reamer through the center can compromise the structural integrity of the plastic and lead to premature failure or “ferrule creep.”

• Heat Application: If the fit is tight, gently warm the ferrule using a heat gun or by placing it in warm water for 30–60 seconds. This slightly expands the material, allowing for a snug, custom fit without damaging the diameter.

• Surface Prep: Ensure the shaft tip and hosel are clean and free of old epoxy residue before installation. Use a light grit sandpaper to create a bonding surface.

• Finishing: Once the epoxy has fully cured, use a belt sander with a polishing belt or hand-sand with fine-grit paper to “turn down” the ferrule so it sits perfectly flush with the hosel. A final wipe with acetone will restore the high-gloss shine.

Note: These are professional-grade components. If you are uncomfortable performing club modifications, we recommend having them installed by a certified club builder.
